Equal access to skilling for everyone.
EvoLearn through EvoMe platform will solve and make it possible for talents in the 4 key areas which have been disadvantaged through either external or internal challenges. Below is who and how EvoLearn will launch their talent to participate with the rest of the world to achieve their dream.
Unleashing Talent of the Girl Child (Gender equality).
For a very long time, the girl child has been denied her right to equal opportunities around the world. Opportunities to pursue her dreams and realize her full potential. One of that fundamental rights is the right to equal skilling (education) opportunities. EvoLearn is now taking leadership in leveling the landscape and creating an opportunity for a girl child to shine. We have made this possible in several ways. Chief among them is a strong belief system. An effective way that helps to inspire girls and women that nothing is impossible to achieve. Supported by our talent discovery and life-long industry (9 domain) skills training from the age of 3. Complemented by our global coaches and industry mentors around the world who will train and guide them throughout their careers. Furthermore, our Competency Profile provides parents or guardians to have progressive visibility of the talent and potential of the girl child in their care. Which helps them to know, appreciate, value, and participate in realizing the talent path of their girl child.
Unleashing Talents of Refugees (Helping Displaced Communities).
The consequence of conflict and war is the loss of lives and the reduced opportunity for a better future for many survivors. According to UNCR (18 June 2020 report), over 79 million people were forcibly displaced by the end of 2019. And the saddest part is that 50% of the total Refuges are under the age of 18 years. Which are hosted in Refugee camps either in their local or foreign country. And one common challenge Refugees face in any place they may be, is their right access to skilling (education). This is either caused by camps without personnel and infrastructure to support skilling (education). Or being hosted in a foreign country that doesn’t accommodate refugees in their school system/services. Therefore denying them the right to skilling, denies their right to a prosperous future.
We as EvoLearn believe that each Refugee has a talent and enormous potential. Potential to positively contribute to their local or host country if even the opportunity to discover their talent and be skilled. Therefore we are leveling the skilling opportunity landscape for Refugees and displaced people. No matter where there are hosted, EvoLearn will be extending offering talent discovery and lifelong skilling training services from the age of 3yrs to displaced people, especially refugees. At any camp regardless of infrastructure, we shall help with access to our EvoMe platform. Which will provide off and online (with basic internet connectivity) coaching and mentoring services. End-user devices such as STK Tablet PCs and other learning tools will be arranged through the Belimitless initiative.
Anchoring this possibility is Brothers & Sisters Initiative, a strategic partner of EvoLearn which mobilize funds from partners to advocate for equal access to education & 4IR skills.
Unleashing Talents in Rural Areas (Marginalize Communities).
The global rural population is about 3.9 billion (according to UN Report 2018). It reported Africa and Asia are home to nearly 90% of the world’s rural population according to the same report. Most of the rural areas of this community especially in Africa are defined as marginalized areas. Areas with a lack adequate infrastructure and services to derive development. One of the essential services that lack or is inadequate is access to the right and quality skilling service. As a consequence people in these communities either fail to get any skills or acquire a skill that cannot foster development competitively.
For the very first time, EvoLearn is set to change the skilling landscape for talent in the rural areas. The first step being bring a belief system that inspires talent in rural areas and that nothing is impossible to achieve
To overcome the barrier of the high cost of internet access, EvoLearn through its Dream Access initiative will provide access to affordable free data to rural learners. The Impact2 initiative makes it possible for affordable free coaching and mentorship and the Be Limittless Initiative for discounted learning devices from STK STARMARK (Strategic device supplier of EvoLearn. And all initiatives are supported by Brothers & Sisters Initiative.
Unleashing Talent of Special Needs Community
According to the World Bank, one billion people, or 15% of the world’s population, experience some form of disability, and disability prevalence is higher in developing countries. One-fifth of the estimated global total, or between 110 million and 190 million people, experience significant disabilities (Source World Bank). One of the biggest questions has been how far the world has made progress in including Special Needs to participate in the economy and others areas. And the answer is very little in terms of inclusivity in economic issues. In many developing countries, they have been either no progress or worse regression.
EvoLearn is set to change the landscape for skilling for Special Needs communities. To make that possible, EvoLearn through EvoMe has a dedicated ecosystem called EvoHope, which primarily focused on providing both life and industry skills to people with special needs. Through this ecosystem, EvoMe tries to provide personalized attention to diverse needs and ascertain the most appropriate skills that can help them live a purposed-filled life.
